How do you normally write your name? In Title Case ie. "John Doe Smith".
Note how "your" name is written on the above documents in UPPER CASE - that person is not you, it is a corporation / entity created by the government.
Have you seen the movie: Alice In Wonderland? Notice how the white rabbit calls Alice by the name "Mary-Anne"? Alice responds out of curiosity of the white rabbit and ends up in a pickle! Near the end of the movie, Alice finds out her real self and escapes all the tyranny of the court when the court goes all funny and corrupt.
How the strawman came about:
The ruling elite some time ago wanted to work out a way to enslave people as enslaving the people is unlawful. So the ruling elite created a strawman - a mirror image of the real man to enslave. When you know the difference between yourself and the strawman, things get interesting.
What is the strawman?
Think of a bunch of guys who decide they'll build a McDonalds franchise without notifying anyone - sure they can collect profits whilever no one complains. When the real McDonalds corporation comes along, they can complain that the guys are using the McDonalds name to profit from, and so the real McDonalds corporation is entitled to collect the profits of the backyard guys! The banksters create a corporation using your name to make profit from - that's your strawman "JOHN DOE SMITH".
When you might be unfortunate enough to get picked out by police or whoever and taken to court on the spot, check their papers see whose name is on it. Most likely it'll be your strawman. Are you that person? No. Can you get any ID that identifies you, not the strawman? No.
Your strawman does however become active during tax time when you file an income tax return for the strawman who is a dead entity. You fill out the name in all capital letters and sign in black. Unless you are a total free man on the land totally self sufficient for goods and services (extremely rare), you need to file your returns - they want to track their numbers (er.. money).
Copyright breach!
Remember the guys who built their own McDonalds franchise? Go get them by filing a notice of copyright at various offices - after all, your name is yours - no matter if someone has tweaked it slightly with all caps to use for themselves!

Taking control of your strawman:
Many people recommend the UCC1 Financing Statement. It is a way for you as a living being to register a lien over your strawman, and a copy of the UCC statement to prove it should you need to attach copies with documents. You have to get one with Washington DC, not Washington state - there is a difference. See UCC page
When you write a letter, you are an authorized agent for your strawman.
