Faith And Works

A new document - a work in progress.

Some wonder if it is faith alone that gets one over the line into Heaven?
We know that being a good person is not enough to get into Heaven, as The Good Person Test song by Destiny Lab outlines very nicely.

It's a combination of faith and works (James 2:14-26), but faith is the predominant factor, as the following quote from Ephesians 2:8-10 says:
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

So, we're saved completely by grace. There's nothing we can do to BE saved except accept Jesus as Lord of our lives and our saviour. The Bible passages pertaining to works generally seem to say that if we are saved, we will want to do good works because we are so thankful to God for saving us and so we want to live His way - as you would do for a friend - you would go that extra mile for them. It's not saying that works save us, because that would go completely against what the rest of the Bible says. No-one can be good enough to be saved, and works are mere rags in the end (Isaiah 64:6). That's why Jesus had to die in our place.

Let's hear it from James 2:14-26 (Common English Bible)
14 My brothers and sisters, what good is it if people say they have faith but do nothing to show it? Claiming to have faith can’t save anyone, can it? 15 Imagine a brother or sister who is naked and never has enough food to eat. 16 What if one of you said, “Go in peace! Stay warm! Have a nice meal!”? What good is it if you don’t actually give them what their body needs? 17 In the same way, faith is dead when it doesn’t result in faithful activity.

18 Someone might claim, “You have faith and I have action.” But how can I see your faith apart from your actions? Instead, I’ll show you my faith by putting it into practice in faithful action. 19 It’s good that you believe that God is one. Ha! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble with fear. 20 Are you so slow? Do you need to be shown that faith without actions has no value at all? 21 What about Abraham, our father? Wasn’t he shown to be righteous through his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 See, his faith was at work along with his actions. In fact, his faith was made complete by his faithful actions. 23 So the scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and God regarded him as righteous. What is more, Abraham was called God’s friend. 24 So you see that a person is shown to be righteous through faithful actions and not through faith alone. 25 In the same way, wasn’t Rahab the prostitute shown to be righteous when she received the messengers as her guests and then sent them on by another road? 26 As the lifeless body is dead, so faith without actions is dead.

Faith - we all have a good idea of that.
Faith without works is dead (Check out Matthew 25:31-46 for more!).

It is important to read the Bible - start out with the book of Matthew and then read whatever you want from there. There's lots of research resources to help you on your way to make study easy and enjoyable :)

Which religion is right? You'll just have to check out my other document on that - they're all men's teachings, but there is one who does't have physical remains (burial / cremation) and is still kicking to this day! Can you guess who!?
Jesus saves and has demonstrated this on numerous occasions - just ask the near death experiencers and alien abductees in particular :)

Works - includes sharing the Word with others and / or encouraging them in their growth or encouraging them to get into the Word some more. Works also includes helping people out however you can / don't live a selfish life. Can donate to ministries that teach the Word and help communities. Can teach others about natural health remedies, fuel savers (documented & proven only), can help in research projects.

Check out Galatians 4 - it says to help those who are unable, but you are able to. Have special skills that few other people have? Put them to use :) You only have standard skills? Put them to use :)

Revelation 22:12 - "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

Get into some conspiracy research too - it's interesting, and may help you dodge the snares in life!
"...cos we gon stand up to the big bad wolf we gon expose you while we make everybody look..."
Ephesians 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove (expose) them.

The cure for cancer has been found already - Vitamin B17, a proper diet, and as for skin & breast cancer - black salve works a treat and rapidly / visually too. www.panaceauniversity.org/Black%20Salve%20Alternative%20Cancer%20Treatment.pdf or Black Salve on Facebook

That petrol and diesel engines are engineered to waste fuel? Why do you think they have a catalytic converter? To burn the fuel in the exhaust, rather than inside the engine where a complete burn is supposed to happen!Free energy inventors such as Stan Meyer have been murdered for their inventions which could have drastically improved the quality of living!

Don't take my word for it - go research for yourself and see if you can disprove these points made! :)

Most importantly, share this information along!
